Ruth was incredibly brave yesterday. No, she wasn’t doing bungee jumping or wrestling with crocodiles. She went on an adventure and took all three kids to the market to buy fruit and veg for Pesach. This may not seem brave, but when the eldest child is 4 and very determined and the middle child is 2 and lives in her own world for the majority of the day, you can see where things might go wrong.

Anyway, we took heed of some good advice that I heard on the Internet and wrote Ruth’s phone number of the kids. We were going to write the number of their tummies, but Esther decided that she didn’t want to have the number on her tummy so she had it on her arm. Shira thought it was brilliant to have the number on her tummy. When I went to meet them all for lunch, Shira kept showing off the number to everybody in the cafe where we had lunch.

We put them in the bath in the evening and the number has mostly gone, but you can still see it if you try. Ho hum.

Anyway, the babysitter is coming to-day to look after all 3 kids while Ruth cleans for Pesach. Good luck to her.
