Obviously you know you’re a parent when you’re in the hospital holding a little ball of fluff that is your most precious new baby son/daughter. However, what they don’t tell you in the parenting classes is that as time goes by you will either manage to mould that ball of fluff into a normal walking talking human being, or you will end up mired in mucky nappys and talking gibberish.
For instance, in our house, you will often hear the following phrases:
“Do you have a mucky boombah?”
“Do you want some gumbunger and manoo?”
“Geebagoo!”

These 3 things mean:
“Do you have a mucky nappy?”
“Do you want some cucumber and tomato?”
“Peek-a-boo!”

Kids eh!
