Heart conditions
When I was 16 I was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-Whyte syndrome. Now that I’m getting older, we decided it was time to get some life insurance and other grown up things. On the questionnaire, it asks if you have any heart conditions. I said yes, I have WPW. The insurance agent said that I would need to have a checkup to make sure that everything was alright.
To-day I went to the cardiologist to get my letter to give to the insurance company. They did an ECG and then the doctor said “nope, you don’t have anything to indicate that you have WPW”.
Yay, I’m cured!
Or not.
Maybe they made a mistake in the original diagnosis. Maybe the cardiologist made a mistake to-day. I don’t know, but I have my letter for the insurance company and my premiums shouldn’t be any higher because or my condition or lack thereof!
