Today, I went down to the shops with mummy. We were shopping for yoghurts. I remembered to bring my handbag with my purse and phone (because I am a big girl and wanted to do some shopping). Mummy did lots of shopping and when we got to the checkout I tried to give the lady one of my golden pennies. Mummy had given the lady enough money already. I wanted to buy something, so we went outside and so mummy and I decided that I could do some shopping of my own and that I could buy a banana. Mummy got a banana off the shelf (I’m a big girl, but I’m not very tall yet) and mummy didn’t think that 1 golden penny would be enough so she gave me a tiny little silver one to go with it as well. I gave the banana to the checkout lady and then I gave her my money and then she gave me back my banana and a big golden penny. I came out the shop and put my money back in my purse and put my purse back in my handbag and munched my banana while we walked home.
