We just bought a new dining room table and chairs and we were told that the table was 2m long.  I thought I should see how far my arms went along the table to test this.  My arms nearly reached both ends.  I thought this was a little strange, because as everyone knows, your arm span is the same as your height.  I am a couple of inches short of 6ft tall (I think 177cm).  So we measure the table, and lo and behold it was actually 2m.  So once again, I spread my arms, and found that my arm span is 188cm.  That’s quite a lot.  Almost 4 1/2 inches!

As my wife so lovingly put it.  I have ape man arms!!!
