Everyone over the age of… Well everyone I think should know who Tom and Jerry are. We happen to have our own Tom and (possibly multiple) Jerry(s).

Our Tom decides that our balcony is a good place to use as a toilet.  We have spoken to his owners several times, but to no avail.  (They seem to control Tom for about a week and then it starts all over).  We are now taking drastic action.

Tom, however, is not having any effect on Jerry.  Just recently we have had a mouse problem.  We have already disposed of two of the little blighters, but there is at least one more on the prowl.  Ruth bought a couple of mouse traps and we put them out yesterday evening.  Early in the evening, we heard a big ’snap’ as the trap trapped little Jerry.  Unfortunately, in true Jerry style, he managed to sneak out from between the bars of his trap as I was taking him outside.  Consequently, we still have Jerry on the loose.

Leaving the traps out overnight and during the day has so far not worked.  Perhaps Jerry has already become wise to the smell of Peanut Butter.
